Developer Advice on Game Design
I think the most important advice the developers gave our group is that our idea of programming the controller will not work and that we should probably try something else. I'm glad we got this advice now rather than when we were halfway through our game and we would've had to start over again and reprogram stuff.

The most important advice the game developers gave us was to cut back on what we where going to put in the game. We dropped the score keeping, audio, visual details, and other levels.By doing this we're going to be able to be able to get more done in the amount of time given to us.

The most important advice that the developers gave me was that i would have to change the speed of how fast the barrels would move in each level. They also told me that I would have to program the dance pad differently than I had originally planned to do because then you would be hitting the same corners to control different things and that wouldnt work.

Get off the lawn design
Our game will encourage play and replayability because it will have a lot of levels and multiple challenges per level. You will also be able to upgrade your lawnmower to cut the grass faster.
Design Activity
I think our game will encourage play and reply because it has the classic scrolling feel from the original Donkey Kong. People would want to replay it because each level would become increasingly difficult, and it would get you moving.
Donkey Kong Design Activity
People will want to play our game because it is a classic arcade game and it is simple but kind of addicting. People will want to keep playing because it is fun to just play this game and you get exercise. People will love the idea of the classic game with some twists.
"Get Off the Lawn!"Design Activity
"Get of the lawn!" is going to get people moving without actually acknowledging it as exercise. Obviously your going to have to pedal, but you get to move at your own pace.It's a pretty simple game so it shouldn't take much time. The different levels do get larger and more complex, but not to the point of having to sit on the bike, hour on end, to finish a single level. So, you'll end up having fun and getting exercising at the same time, without having to take pain dedication the next morning.
Donkey Kong-Design
The game we are creating is a game that is the same every time you play it. There are no alternate ways to play it. This game will encourage people to play it because its a challenging game because the barrels start moving faster in each level but is not to challenging and gets people moving in a fun and interactive way because it is a classic game that was remade.

The way that this will get people to play is the way that you have to pedal the bike.The way that they will want to pedal the bike is because if they don't the obstacles will hit them and the will lose an x amount of points. Also how fast you have to pedal the bike. The way that it will let people will wont to play again is the level of difficulty that it will be. It will not be to hard but it wont be to easy.

exergame creation
The thing that gets me most excited to create an exergame is the type of game. I like the idea of a lawn mower with a cattle guard. Most exergames aren't geared towards kids our age. My main concern is that the bike won't work with the game. I hope that the bike doesn't allow it to move the direction it's facing.

The thing that makes me so happy about this game is the way that it is going to turn out. the way that the graphics are going to be. Also the way that the programing is going to go very smooth,I hope. The things that we are probably going to run into are finishing the game on time. That is my main game concern

I am excited about recreating the classic arcade game Donkey Kong. We are using a donkey instead of a monkey. We have also switched Mario with a cross between Mario and Luigi, his name is luario. The problems that we might face are difficulty with the controller since it is a dance pad. Another problem might be when I have to program Luario to climb the ladders. and jump over the barrels.

I am very excited about using a real donkey in Donkey Kong. I also think it is cool because we are using a character called Luario who is a cross between Mario and Luigi. I think that programming the controls is going to be difficult because we are using control combinations that use the buttons more that twice each.

I am most excited about the graphics in our game, Donkey Kong. I am going to be the artist, so it's up to me to make stunning art. I am also looking foreword to actually playing the game and getting exercise from it. I think we might have some problems in how the sprite will react to other sprites, since we need it to climb ladders and walk across platforms. We are going to have a ladder, a Donkey Kong, and other characters such as a banana, Luario, and a barrel. Donkey Kong has to jump over the barrel, climb the ladder, and interact with Luario and the banana.
Exert Game Creation
Since I'm doing the artwork for our group I'm excited to see how the work that I'm doing will tie into the work of the other people in in my group (Dante and Tre). Plus it sound really kool , being able to see my work come to "life". One of the problems I'm afraid we may encounter is overestimating our abilities. It's still work and I don't want anyone (or all) to procrastinate and wait till the last minute. But, I do think having a project manager will help and since this assignment sounds fun and creative we'll kick or butts into doing our jobs. Other than that I think there may be issues with programming the movments on screen to reflect the bikes movements.

Exergame Brainstorming
Brainstorming was awesome! There where so many amazing( and funny) ideas, it was hard to keep up. There where a lot of creative ideas so there was' much to say ^_^". I think having groups like that are a lot better than having individual sessions since everyone feeds of each others energy. I suppose the only negative is rabbit trails. We'll get so excited that sometime we totally ditch the subject we where originally on.
Exergame Programing
I enjoyed the exergame brainstorming. I felt that the most enjoyable part was when we found something really funny, and the room burst into laughter. The hardest part was when I had no ideas, because it was harder to spark a new one than to build off another.

I thought the brainstorm session was awesome. Most of it was very easy. I liked adding on to other peoples ideas. It allowed me to widen my imagination. The only thing I didn't like were the round and rounds of ideas and not being able to hear myself think. The difficulties were with the original ideas. I can't think of things off the top of my head.

I thought that the brainstorming project was really fun and cool because we got to hear each others ideas on the games we want to create. This helped us to experience what the game designers go through when they create games. The things that were difficult to decide between the group was when we had to substitute one idea for another and also figuring out how the stuff would be an exercise game that got your heart pumped.

the thing that i liked was all the ideas that where brought up among the group. the things that I liked was all the funny ideas that Matt came up with. the other things that i liked was that they where not scared to show what they thought. That is what was so fun about the discussion. The hard things were coming up with the ideas.what made it so hard was thinking of game ideas for the two topics.

When we brainstormed today, I thought it was really fun when we got to add on to the ideas that other people started to come up with. I thought it was difficult to come up with our own ideas but we did pretty good. I thought that we did do pretty good. It was very funny to listen to some of the ideas that people came up with. I thought the rock, paper, scissors was interesting.
